Am 30.12.22 war es so weit: Im angesagten YUCA Club in Köln Ehrenfeld konnten Talente aus dem Open Studio Projekt 2022 ihre Skills präsentieren. Obwohl es einen Tag vor Silvester war und es draußen in Strömen regnete, war der Club gut gefüllt. Das Publikum bekam Cover Songs und eigene Raps zu hören, auf Englisch, Deutsch und Arabisch.
Die Stimmung war hinter und vor der Bühne großartig! Die jungen Nachwuchskünstler:innen waren extrem aufgeregt, denn für fast alle war es das erste Mal auf einer Bühne überhaupt.
Insgesamt kamen alle noch einmal zusammen: Das Team von Open Studio unter der Leitung von Abdul Masri, die Coaches, die im Vorfeld viele Musik- und Medien Workshops durchgeführt hatten und natürlich die Teilnehmenden selbst.
Wir bedanken uns bei den Förderern und allen Beteiligten, u.a. Equalization e.V., dem Jugendzentrum Dachlow und dem Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld.
Damit ist das Projekt „Open Studio“ beendet und wir verabschieden uns.

Open Studio – closing event
On December 30th, 2022, the time had come: Talents from the Open Studio Project 2022 were able to present their skills in the trendy YUCA Club in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Although it was the day before New Year’s Eve and it was pouring rain outside, the club was packed. The audience heard cover songs and their own raps in English, German and Arabic.
The atmosphere was great behind and in front of the stage! The young up-coming artists were extremely excited, because for almost all of them it was their first time on a stage.
All in all, everyone came together once again: the Open Studio team led by Abdul Masri, the coaches, who had done many music and media workshops beforehand, and of course the participants themselves.

With that, the “Open Studio” project is over and we say goodbye.
